For the launch of RTHMS, the new book by Iris Bijland, we created a portrait series inspired by the themes at the heart of the publication: rhythm, intuition and movement.
Using natural light, a minimalist setting and fluid compositions, we focused on capturing a sense of presence rather than creating traditional author portraits. The imagery explores the connection between stillness and motion, resulting in photographs that feel both soft and powerful.
The portraits form a visual extension of the book itself, bringing the story of RTHMS to life across print, press and digital platforms. More about Iris here.
